Our love for labradors grew in us about 21 years ago from a small white Labrador we named Freedom! She introduced us to the love of this breed. We love how they are so loving and want to be with the family as much as possible but are also ready to go to work when needed. I am convinced that Labrador Retrievers have more brains that some humans! In the past 21 years I have had some of the best moments with my family, of course my Labrador family is included in that. I decided to start breeding these animals about 11 years ago because I wanted other families to enjoy this wonderful breed as much as our family has. I searched for labradors that are up to the AKC standard and not only have an amazing appearance but the best temperament for families. Appearance is important but to me their temperament is even more important.  I have family pets, that are part of our family, and thats what I want for other families as well. 

We decided to name ourselves Lake Life Labradors because we spend a lot of our time on the lake with our Labradors, playing fetch, swimming and soaking up the sun together.
